We are still on a roll since the show in Crosby Baytown. This weekend, was all purple! Pailin go WB BW on Sat. for 2 points, and Sunday Grace went WB for 2 points (only one more single and she’s a CH).

ZOE CHI ZENMASTER OF BUNNYVILLE got her third leg in novice weavers and is moving on up to open. She did great in Tunnelers finishing 2 seconds behind Jennifer’s Halo who had the fastest run in the entire event; i think even beating all the elite runners’ times as well. Darn head check would have made it even closer. I was pleased w/ zoe’s improvement and she didn’t fall out of the poles once…

Chaveleh earned 3rd major win & 3rd win against champion

This weekend in Marshall, Texas, Chaveleh earned her third major win and her third win against a champion towards her Grand Champion title. She did this while completely out of coat!

Hi Debby,

Just gotta tell you that Joy did beautifully in Utility A at HOT’s trial today.

She was “up” and did every exercise in a spiffy manner. Not with straight fronts-and-finishes maybe but with confidence.

I credit much of her good attitude to the Transitioning that you have urged us to do. Okay, maybe I over-did it a bit because she barked with happiness as she spun and “touched” and “backed” from one area to another. The judge was not amused. He took a whole point off for every bark!

So our score wasn’t great by any means, but it was Utility A and everybody said she looked really good. And she won first place in a field of 7 (although only 2 of us passed).

If I knew how to put this “brag” on the Dogwood website brag page, I would. But I don’t — yet — so I’m just telling you since I’m bursting with pleasure and pride.

Thank you, thank you for patiently hammering away at our skills and “criteria” and mental preparedness!
