Debby Quigley and Judy Ramsey, are available on a limited basis for two or three-day workshops. During a workshop, they will help participants blend all the bits and pieces of exercises in order to achieve the “perfect” finished product. Games, concepts and techniques which build drive, attitude, focus, and precision will enable participants to get the most out of the dog they are currently training. In addition, attendees will be shown how to maintain drive, attention, enthusiasm, and accuracy through proofing. Please contact Debby for prices and availability.

Join Debby Quigley and Judy Ramsey for an Agility/Obedience/Rally workshop July 17-19 then stay for three day YVKC Agility Trial in Billings or spend some time hiking in the Beartooth Mountains or check out the bears in Yellowstone Park!
    100×200 indoor arena (with turf surface) on 132 acres with on site dog friendly accommodations.

    TUESDAY ($140.00/day before April 1!!)

    8am-12pm CUE TO Q – Learn how to Cue your dog on course for a Qualifying run! This high-density class focuses on breaking down the set of cues and sequences that make up any agility course. Sequences ranging from the basic crosses (Front Cross and Rear Cross) to advanced handling moves (Threadles, Serpentines, and 270s) will be broken down to a level suitable for the beginning agility team. However, a focus on the technical aspects of handling will benefit advanced handlers as well. A consistent set of cues is the key to a confident dog; and a confident dog is the key to a speedy performance! Contact obstacles and weaves will not be addressed in this class. (Debby) $80

    8am-12pm “STRIKING A BALANCE” – Speed, Drive and Control.
    These are essential elements for success in any venue! No matter what venues you train for and show in, your ability to build and maintain a balance between drive and control is essential. Additionally, knowledge of the basic temperament of your dog will develop your expertise to modify concepts and techniques which will create and maintain an awesome balance! Judy Ramsey $80

    1pm-5pm AGILITY COURSE ANALYSIS – “reading courses” or understanding the best way to set the tightest most efficient line for your dog will help you plan and run courses. This class will analyze a number of courses to form the best strategy to get the tightest course possible using your dogs natural instincts. AKC/USDAA. (Debby) $80

    1pm-5pm – “RALLY – KICKING IT UP A NOTCH!” Take your rally training to the next level! Learn how to build drive and increase your dog’s proficiency for rally exercises! Judy Ramsey $80

    WEDNESDAY ($140/day before April 1)

    8am-12pm JUMPING, You say jump and I say how high! Jumping skills is an essential skill for all dogs in agility. we will look at and review working dogs for their ability to Extend vs collection. We will review how to teach both as well as balance the skills. $80 (Debby)

    8am-12pm “READY – SET – GO!” Games pump your dog up and increase his desire to move quickly and complete the task at hand. Learn how to incorporate game play into your training to help build and maintain focus and drive. $80

    1pm-5pm HEAL your HEELING Obedience/Rally . Do you want a dog that WANTS to heel! Learn how to get the most exciting heeling out of your dog. We will work on attitude, drive and games to keep heeling fun. these methods you can use while teaching or maintaining your dog heeling. (Debby and Judy) $80

    THURSDAY OBEDIENCE/RALLY ($140/day before April 1)

    8am-12pm SUCCESS IS IN THE PROOFING Do you have a problem showing in the ring? Does your dog do great in training and you lose something when you enter the ring? Then this session is for you! We will get you on the road to successfully competition in the ring. The best way to get the most consistent confident dog is to know the ins and outs of proofing. (Debby and Judy) $80
